High Stakes Photoshoot

First off, we would love to wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR! We had a fantastic 2019 and are looking forward to 2020! We wanted to share our recent photoshoot because it just screams New Years and the roaring 20’s to us!

This glamours avant-garde photoshoot was collaborated on between us and the very talented Noel Thompson and features Reagan Goupil and Ali Abela.

Titled “High Stakes” we are very excited to announce it has been published in iMariage Magazine Issue #543! We wanted to keep a cohesive feel between the two models so we choose to stick with blacks and golds.

For both Reagan and Ali we started their makeup with all of our favorite Sonia Roselli products - you know the brand we have 9 million blog posts about! We also used a lot of our favorite makeup products such as the Graftobian Creme Foundation and the Inglot Gel Eyeliner.

For Ali’s look, we did a smokey eye and abstract brush strokes with Mehron’s gold metallic powder and mixing medium. This product is so versatile as you can create a consistency you would like by altering the amount of powder to liquid you use! For Ali we kept it very thin and for Reagan (pictured below) we wanted a little more texture so we kept the mixture thicker.

For Ali we also added some subtle black rhinestones. We recommend these because of the varying sizes included as well as the two tools it comes with! You have no idea how hard picking up tiny rhinestones can be until you’ve tried it - and trust us - these tweezers and pens make it SO much easier!!

We wanted to keep the focus on the dramatic eyes we did for both girls so we just finished the look off with one of our favorite products - Smith’s Rosebud Salve. For that “your lips but better look” we only reach for this! It drenches lips in moisture and has just a slight pink tint all while giving a soft sheen that looks angelic on camera.

We know it’s not beauty related, but we also have to talk about these fabulous dresses for a moment! They are from AMAZON! Yes…. you heard that right! They far exceeded our expectations and were so gorgeous that they would work for any glamours event. Ali (pictured above) is in this beautiful sequin applique dress. And Reagan (pictured below) is in this sexy sequin striped dress.
