Beautiful Spring Wedding Shoot at the Holly Vault Chapel

If you live in North West Michigan, and have not heard of The Holly Vault, then let us introduce you!  It is owned and operated by HGTV’s Cari Cuckesy and is more than just a wonderful wedding venue!  They also recently opened the Holly Vault Chapel and have accommodations available at their Holly Vault Crossing House.  

Danielle Reed, an amazing natural light photographer and owner of Ellis and Indigo, set up a beautiful spring themed shoot with hints of honey throughout at the newly opened chapel.  It is a wonderful space for an intimate to small size wedding and has amazing light!

We took the opportunity to do two different styles that would equally work for a beautiful spring wedding!  For Sequoia, we wanted a clean but dramatic look. We left everything else very dewy and natural as to not pull the attention away from her beautiful eyes, or to push it over the top.

We also did some light complexion and men’s grooming on Davion. We have many grooms who opt for our Men’s Grooming service on their day of because they want to look their best as well!

For Megan, we wanted that traditional soft and romantic look for both her hair and makeup. We went with a soft pink/brown eye and a simple but classy up-do.
